Welcome to arrabitofilms

So sitting down to write this introduction I realized why I wanted to start a blog in the first place. I'm just a guy making some films and trying to get them seen. I have two films in post production and one of them is my first feature length. After an arduous three months of shooting sporadically and never quite sure if we could finish principal photography, we finally wrapped production by the skin of our teeth. Then after editing an assembly/early rough I started to think back to my school days and drew a blank on what to do next. Holy crap! How the hell do I finish this film, market it, and distribute it to the public? I've read about so many different avenues but which one is right for my film? Crickets....

This blog will partly be about that. Going through the process of finishing a feature film and exploring all the possibilities of distribution. I'll post my findings and hopefully figure out who might want to watch this thing along the way.

Oh yeah and not to mention the film is a transmedia project. So I just blew my top thinking about how to get all this content out. This is going to be one hell of a ride!

I'm also going to post some occasional reviews of films because they're awesome and I want to talk about them with you.

Welcome to my blog!
